Need to get out

Hizuka moved away just enough not to be hit. After Zero had told her the weakness, her hunger for blood became too strong and she lost control. With a smirk, she froze part of the head. She ran and slashed the head with her sword.

Zero lowered the Keyblade again and gasped softly. He was starting to lost control. His hand was shaking and his vision was coming in and out. He managed to see Hikuza hit the Phantomtail and he realized that she'd lost control. Damn! he thought. If she didn't regain control soon, she would either destroy the heartless and go on a hunger rampage, or the heartless would get the better of her and it would kill her.

The hit the Phantomtail received made it lose its balance and it fell onto the ship for a moment, before it gained its balance again. "Don't just hit it once. Do it multiple times, keep it off balance!" Zero shouted at her. "Its the best chance we have." he muttered to himself.

As the heartless rose back up to their level, he lifted the Keyblade again, his red eyes staring straight at it. He lunged at it again and swung the Keyblade at its head multiple times, like he'd told Hizuka to do. He seemed to be making the heartless confused and it was starting to lower itself onto the ship again.

He saw Tinkerbell trying to open the bag by herself but he quickly looked away. His eyes seemed to turn a deeper shade of red as he realized that it was probably a human who was in that bag. His hunger for blood was becoming too much, and he couldn't even take a blood tablet to stop it. His body still rejected them.

As soon as the heartless was on the ship, Hizuka ran towards it. She hacked at the head multiple times with her sword. When Tinkerbell opened the bag she froze. There were humans in the bag. As soon as she started to go towards the bag she was hit again and flew back quite a ways.

Zero continued to hit the Phantomtail with the Keyblade until out of nowhere it disappeared. He was a little confused when he saw a heart float out from where the heartless had been. Before he could even do anything to the heart it floated up into the sky and disappeared. "What was that all about?" he said softly.

He heard bell noises again and looked down at Tinkerbell. She was pulled at his collar again. "Would you stop that?" he growled softly at the fairy. His eyes were still a very deep red color but it seemed that Tinkerbell hadn't noticed that. Either that or she was ignoring it.

She crossed her arms and stared at him. Zero sighed. "Fine. What do you want me to do?" he asked the fairy. She pointed to the bag. "I - open the bag?" he asked. She nodded and he hesitated. "I - I don't think I should. Your friend is human right?" he said. Tinkerbell nodded again, and Zero looked back at Hizuka. I have to do it. Or else if she does, the human wont survive, I know it. He bit his lip again, trying to draw blood to keep him in control as long as he could.

He ran toward the bag and untied it. He noticed the captain and the other guy had disappeared and he figured that they had run away to safety while he and Hizuka fought the Phantomtail. Zero opened the bag and a young boy shot out from the bag, and flew up into the air.

Hizuka felt the presence leave. She didn't move from where she was. A part of her consciousness was keeping there, but she wasn't sure why. She looked up into the sky trying to overcome the hunger.

Zero looked at the boy who was now talking to Tinkerbell. He looked over at Hizuka and when he looked back, the boy was floating right in front of him. His face was nearly touching Zero's and he took a step back. "What are you doing?" he asked the boy.

"Thank for helping me!" the boy said with a wide grin. "My name's Peter. Peter Pan." he said pointing to himself. Zero blinked as he watched the boy act so hyper and weird. "I'm Zero Kiryu." he told the boy. "Nice to meet ya, Zero!" Peter said happily.

"You - you too." Zero said skeptically. "Er ... We should get going now." Zero said quickly. He has to get Hizuka out of there before she tried to do anything stupid. "Aw, so soon?" Peter pouted and crossed his arms. "Well if you hafta ..." the boy sighed. "Tink?" Peter adressed the fairy. Tinkerbell nodded and put more of the dust on both him and Hizuka. "That's just in case you need more." Peter said, and Zero smiled at him. "Thanks."

He walked over to Hizuka and held out his hand. "We have to go." he told her. His eyes had begun to go back to normal, thanks to the blood he'd drawn from himself.

Hizuka looked at Zero for a moment and then took his hand and stood up. Her eyes were slowly returning to normal and she tried to forget the hunger. She didn't look towards the ship at all. She felt pretty bad that she couldn't help more. "Sorry Zero.." she said quietly.

Zero sighed and shrugged. "The hunger got the best of you, don't worry about it." he told her. He flew up into the air and motioned for her to follow. "We have to go before they start to ask what we are. They've never seen us here." he told her. He wouldn't be able to explain why they were there, how they got there and what they were. He was sure they noticed that he and Hizuka weren't exactly human.

"Headmaster Cross gave you blood tablets right?" he asked her. The headmaster gave all Vampires a small box of blood tablets that they had to take in order to keep their hunger from going out of control. But considering that this girl had just lost control he assumed that either her body rejected the tablets or she never got any. For the headmaster's sake, he hoped it was the first one

If the Vampire council found out that he slipped and didn't give her the tablets, they would be after him. It was a stupid reason but it was very true. Giving the Night Class students the tablets was a nessesary thing to keep the Day Class students safe.

Hizuka flew up with him. "Yeah" she replied.

"He did.. But my body rejects them.." She said embarrassed. She didn't know that others had that problem as well.

"Damn." he muttered. So her body her rejected the blood taboets too? That was bad. And she clearly didn't have enough will power to keep herself in control when she graved blood. Even he couldn't do that for long. But he could do it long enough to her himself away from any humans he could attack.

Drinking his own blood was enough to keep him sane sometimes too. But he knew that without Yumi around, he wouldn't last much longer before he went after someone. And now this girl too. He had to figure out something to do with her, to keep her in control.

She had lunged for Peter when she realized that there was a human inside. "Drink your own blood." he told her, that was the first thing that came to mind. "It'll keep you in control long enough so you don't hurt any humans that could be around us." he added. "I do it sometimes." he admitted softly.

"Okay." She bit the inside of her cheek. She didn't want to say anything about Zero's last comment.

"Where to now?" She asked him.

Zero stopped flying and looked around the place as he thought. "I'm not sure." he said. He couldn't see the ship anymore, that was good. They were a good distance away from Peter and Tinkerbell, so he didn't have to worry about Hizuka going after either of them. He felt a strange aura eminnating from somewhere and he stiffened.

It was the same as before. When he'd been in Wonderland with Zack. He'd felt the same presence around them, that was good and bad news all at the same time. It meant that there was a portal, which he now knew were called Dark Corridors, near them that they could use to get out of this world. The bad news Waa that there were probably a lot of heartless protecting it.

"There's a way out of here. But there are probably a lot more heartless around there." he told her.

Hizuka stopped when he did. She looked around. "A way out? Back to Cross Academy?" She asked hopefully.

Zero shook his head. "No, I don't think so." he said. "But if we can meet up with Hitame and Yuki, we should be able to find a way to get back to the Academy." he added.

He started to fly in the direction where the aura was eminnating from and soon he saw a clearing where there was a dark, shadowy hole. "The Dark Corridor." he said, pointing to the portal. "If we get through there, we should end up in a different world. Thing is ... I don't know where we'll end up." he explained.

"Okay," she said, her eyes finally completely back to normal.

She flew with him until she saw it. "A different world.." she said quietly to herself.

If we could just meet up with them. Then maybe we could all find a way to get back home together. he thought to himself. He was a bit worried though, about where this Dark Corridor would take them. What if they ended up in a different world, or in two different worlds like he and Zack had.

He suddenly saw a hooded figure come out of the Dark Corridor. He'd seen someone like that before, back in Traverse Town. The figure took his hood off and Zero found himself staring at a boy with blonde hair, the same boy he'd seen fight that older man in Traverse Town. Without thinking twice, Zero grabbed Hizuka by the arm and he dove down, behind a long mountain like rock, to keep them from the boy's view.

"Stay down until that boy leaves." he told her. He knew that this boy was careless most of the time, so he would leave the Dark Corridor open, long enough for them to leave that world.

Hizuka saw the hooded figure come out of the dark corridor. Then when Zero dove down with her she made a little squeak because she was surprised.

"Okay," she answered him, slightly confused.

Zero stayed as still as possible while the boy looked around. He seemed to be looking for something or someone. Suddenly he heard someone laughing, the boy seemed to hear it too and he ran toward the laughter. Zero recognized the talking after the laughter, it was from the captain that had been on the ship while they fought the Phantomtail.

He wanted to go after the boy, to see what was going on with those people, but he knew had other priorities than worrying about what happened there. Once the boy was out of sight, Zero came up from where he and Hizuka were hidden, taking her up with him. The Dark Corridor was starting to disperse and he knew that it was going to be close.

"Fly toward the Dark Corridor. Now!" he told the girl as he began to fly toward it as fast as he could. He just hoped it would take them to wherever Hitame or Yuki were.

Hizuka was completely still while they were hidden until she heard the laughter. She looked around for it and noticed the boy went after the noise.

When she was pulled up she flew to the dark corridor as fast as she could. She saw that it was closing, so she tried to go a little faster.

Just as it had happened to him before, once he entered the Dark Corridor everything went dark. No noises from the world he'd just been in and no light. He was completely shrouded in darkness.

But it wouldn't last. Soon the portal would open in another world and they would have to find their way around that world too.
