Need to get out

Not again.

Zero sighed as he walked around yet another new place. He was starting to get really tired of being sent into these weird places. He'd gone into the portal he found in Wonderland and after being surrounded by nothing but darkness for a few moments he ended up there in this place called Neverland.

To make things worse, he had lost sight of Zack. Who knows where the kid was now. Now, he was alone again, and still as worried as ever about Hitame and Yuki being near Tye. The boy could lose control again and he was sure Hitame couldn't fight off the seventeen year old again. She was only fifteen and while she had great combat skills, she just wasn't as strong as Tye was, especially when he was in his full vampire form.

He had to find them.

Where am I..? There was a bright light and now I'm in a strange place..

Hizuka looked around extremely confused. Everything looked so weird to her. Nothing seemed right in this place. She got up and walked around trying to find someone else. All she did was walk in a big circle and ended up where she started.

As he walked Zero noticed a change in the scents of the atmosphere. He stopped in his tracks as he realized the scent was familiar. It was the scent of another Vampire from the Night Class. What began to worry him was not that there was a Vampire here besides himself, but that it seemed the students of Cross Academy were all being sent to these places for no reason.

He turned in the direction of the scent and began to walk toward it. His Blood Rose was in his hand as he walked, he wasn't sure if he would have to use it, but for the Vampire's and his own sake, he hoped he wouldn't have too.

As he reached a spot where the scent was overpowering, Zero stopped walking. He looked around the person and his gaze fell on a girl he recognised as Hizuka Shikomaru. He knew the girl to be calm and quiet, so he put his Bloody Rose away, classifying her as not harmful.

"Shikomaru." he called out to her in his usual, Prefect voice.

Hizuka, lost and confused, decided to wait in that area. She didn't know anything else that she could have done. She suddenly looked up, smelling a familiar scent. She couldn't figure out why it was so familiar. She jumped when she heard her name and turned around to see Zero Kiryu, one of the prefects at Cross Academy.

"Z-Zero?" she said in bewilderment.

This girl seemed to weak for her own good. He wasn't trying to be mean or anything, but the way she seemed too lost and confused to even move from the spot where she was, it showed Zero that she could be killed by one of these Heartless things that were running around these worlds. Of course he'd never seen her fight, and he knew about her powers to control ice, like Aido. But she just seemed like the kind of person that would be too scared to fight off those creatures.

"What are you doing here? How'd you get here?" he asked the girl. He doubted that she would actually know, since he didn't even know. Unless she was the cause of this, but if she was, then why would she bring herself to these confusing worlds? He pushed those thpughts to the back of his mind and turned his attention back to the girl.

"I.. There was a bright light.. And then I was here." she answered him. She had no idea how or why it happened.

Hizuka saw a small creature behind Zero, but ignored it until it started coming closer. She had never seen anything like that before, not very surprising in this place. When it looked like it would attack Zero, she got scared. Without realizing it, Hizuka was running towards the creature with a sword in her hand. Closing her eyes she slashed at it with all her strength.

"What are you -"

Zero was suddenly cut off as he saw the attacking girl coming toward him. He began to pull out his Bloody Rose, thinking she had lost it and was attacking him, but out of the corner of his eye he saw something. Before giving it a second thought, Zero moved out of the way of Hizuka's attack and let her destroy the heartless.

It had been a small shadow heartless, like the ones he'd seen in Traverse Town, when he first arrived there. "Damn. Those things exist here too?" he asked. He hadn't seen those things at Wonderland, well he saw heartless, but there were a different kind of heartless. He thought the Shadows were only native to Traverse Town, he was obviously wrong.

"Thanks." he said somewhat reluctantly. Zero hated having to thank one of the Night Class members for helping or saving him. Almost as much as he hated being one of their kind. Zero sighed and looked around. "It's not safe here right now." he couldn't believe he was about to suggest this to one of them ... "We have to try and find shelter somewhere for now."

Hizuka looked at the sword in her hands once the creature was destroyed. She had no idea where it had come from. She jumped a little when the sword disappeared.

"What was that..?" she asked after a few seconds. "Shelter.. You mean there are more?" she noticed his attitude but decided against saying anything to him.

Zero saw her sword disappear, and he realized that what had happened to her waa the aame thing that happened to him. Except her sword was a normal looking one, his wasn't. He'd learned that the name of this weapon he could use was the Keyblade. But he still didn't understand why it was that he could use it.

From what he learned, only those with pure hearts and no darkness were able to weild them. And even though he hated to admit it, he wasn't pure of heart and he certainly didn't have any light inside him. He was shrouded in darkness because of what he was. He clutched his hands into fist but turned to face Hizuka once more.

"This place is getting to you too." he told her. "Something occurs here that makes us able to use weapons we never had before." he explained. She seemed to be confused on the whole heartless concept and Zero sighed. "Yes. There are a lot more of those thungs here. And in the other worlds too." he said softly. "Now let's go before another one shows up." he told her.

Something happens to us..? Other worlds..?

Hizuka had so many things that she wanted to ask but she was too nervous. She was afraid of what the answer would be and she didn't want to annoy Zero. She thought that he must know what to do since he was a prefect.

"Okay.." she said quietly and walked over to him.

As Zero began to walk he heard a tinkling sort of noise, kind of like the sound of a bell. He stopped and put his arm out to stop the girl from walking any further. This was new, he'd never heard this sound before in any if the other worlds he'd been too so far. He looked around and saw nothing, but when he looked forward again, he felt something hit his chest.

"The hell?" he said, as a small creature hovered in front of him shaking its head. He looked at the little wings and saw the glitter that fell from it. "What -" he was cut off by sudden movements the little creature made. It pointed to him, Hizuka and then to something behind it. As he stared at it, Zero realized that it was wearing a little dress and that was a girl.

"Hold on, hold on." he finally said to her. "Who are you?" he asked her. The little fairy looking creature, made more movements and began to make it seem like it was building something, or more like fixing something. "Tinker ... ?" he started. The fairy nodded and continued, making little bell noises. "Bell ...?" he said. She nodded frantically and he blinked. "Tinker ... Bell. Tinkerbell?" he said and she clapped. "So, your name is Tinkerbell. What are you doing here, what were you in a hurry to get away from?" he asked it.

Tinkerbell made more bell noises and pointed frantically around her. When she noticed Zero didn't understand what she was saying, she flew around him and Hizuka, dropping some of the glittery power on them, it caused Zero to give a sneeze and it momentarily blinded him, because it got in his eyes and soon, he felt his feet lift off the ground. "What the -" Zero said as he slowly floated up into the air and he looked down at Tinkerbell, who was pulling on his collar, signaling for him to follow her.

Hizuka stopped right before she bumped into Zero's arm. She became very confused until she heard the bell sound and saw the fairy. She watched it, amazed.

Hizuka panicked when she started floating from the dust the fairy had dropped on her. "Wh-What?"

"I think she wants us to follow her." he blinked at the small fairy as she continued to tug on his collar. He noticed that Hizuka was starting to panic and he shook his head. "Hold out your arms for balance." he told her. He heard Tinkerbell's bell voice and he turned his attention back to her.

"What?" he asked her. "Where do you want us to go?" he added. He turned around in a circle following the fairy and he tilted his head. He watched Tinkerbell fly over to Hizuka, and saw her make the same movements to her as she had to him. What was she trying to say to them?

Suddenly Tinkerbell flew away from both of them and she pointed toward what Zero could now see was a ship. "You want us to go there?" he asked and pointed to the ship. Tinkerbell nodded and flew a bit further away from them. "I guess we have to go over there ..." he said and looked over at Hizuka.

Hizuka put her arms out like Zero said. She calmed down at watched the fairy confused.

"Okay" she said looking towards the ship. She wondered what was there and why the small fairy wanted them to go there. She couldn't see anything too odd about that ship.

The ship seemed normal when you looked at it from a distance. But once you got closer to it, you saw that it wasn't a regular old ship. Zero couldn't believe what he saw when thet got closer to the ship.

Heartless.

There were heartless everywhere. It was like the ship was being run by the creatures. In the middle of it, he could see two pirates, or he thought they were pirates, shouting and almost crying for help. "Help! Someone help! Get me out of here, Mr. Smee!" the one that looked like a captain called out. "There are to many Captain! I can't move from here!" the one the captain had called Mr. Smee called back. "Blast it, Smee!" the captain screamed, and a dark aura eminated from him and the heartless seemed to be attracted to that.

"We have to help them?" Zero asked. Tinkerbell shook her head and pointed to the ship. "No?" Zero scratched his head. "Then what are you pointing at?" he asked her.

Once they got a little closer Hizuka saw the creatures. She still didn't know what they were, but she didn't like them. She saw two men on the ship shouting.

When Tinkerbell said no Hizuka was just as confused as Zero was. "Do you want us to fight those creatures..?" she asked Tinkerbell.

"But wouldn't that be the same as saving those two?" Zero asked her. Tinkerbell shook her head and pointed to the ship again. There must be something that they were missing. Were those two men really the only ones on the ship? If Tinkerbell didn't want them to save the men, then what was the point of bringing them there?

Tinkerbell pointed to the ship frantically. She made a motion that made it seem like she was in a bag and she was fighting to get out. Zero took another look at the ship, this time he noticed something he hadn't before. He saw a bag that seemed to be moving, Zero went a bit closer to it and he noticed that it seemed to be tied to a pole on the ship.

"You have a friend on there?" He asked pointing to the ship. Tinkerbell nodded and pulled him closer to the ship. "Those two men captured your friend and then they were captured by those heartless, right?" Zero asked. Tinkerbell nodded again and he sighed. "That man has a really strong evil aura." he said. As he said this, Zero realized something. Since when was he able to see people's aura?

He shook his head and looked at Hizuka, then back at Tinkerbell. "I'll help you get your friend out of there." he reassured Tinkerbell. "Will you, Shikomaru?" he asked Hizuka.

Hizuka looked at the ship again. She noticed the bag at the same time as Zero. She thought that she should help in some way, but she wasn't sure how.

"Aura.. Of course I'll help" she replied.

Tinkerbell seemed to be getting impatient with waiting, she wanted to get her friend to safety. Before Zero could say anything to her, the little fairy flew at the ship. "Wait! Tinkerbell!" he shouted after her, making it apparent that they were there.

The heartless saw them and a few of them flew over to block their path. "Damn. We don't have time for these things." he said, as he watched Tinkerbell fly over to the bag. Zero sighed and dept his hand begin to burn, it was happening again. Soon a bright light began to glow in his hand and his Keyblade appeared.

"We have to catch up to her!" he told Hizuka. "Now move!" he pointed his Keyblade at the heartless and a stream of light flew from the tip of the weapon and straight at the heartless.

After seeing Tinkerbell fly to the ship and the heartless block them, Hizuka panicked a little on the inside. She didn't show it because she didn't want Zero to think she was weak. Her sword appeared and she was completely focused on her target. She slashed it and it disappeared. She quickly followed Tinkerbell, slashing heartless that got in her way.

The stream of light wiped out most of the heartless that had surrounded them. Zero flew after Hizuka as she followed Tinkerbell. More heartless showed in front of them and Zero became more frustrated.

"Just ignore them. We have to get to her friend." he told Hizuka and flew a bit in front of her. He reached the ship and all the small heartless disappeared. Zero looked around getting a bad feeling about their disappearance.

"Something's not right." he said. As he flew lower onto the ship. Suddenly a large heartless showed up. Zero took a step back and stared up at the flying creature. "What is that?!" he shouted.

"Okay" said Hizuka when Zero flew towards the ship. She followed, not knowing what to expect. She thought it was weird that the heartless that were just on the ship had disappeared.

She looked up at the large heartless that had just shown up. She was completely focused on it. "Attack?" she asked Zero, not taking her eyes off of it.

[OOC: Just a little info on the heartless I made show up. I forget what it's called(cause I'm that dumb xD) but it looks like a dragon sort of thing, its purple and you can only cause damage to it by hitting it on the head. If you hit it anywhere else, it teleports.]

Zero looked at the heartless for a moment then at Hizuka. He lifted his Keyblade up a bit and nodded at her. "Attack." he echoed the girl. He swung the Keyblade at the creature, hitting its wing. As he hit it, Zero noticed that no damage was caused to it.

The heartless disappeared and reappeared near Hizuka. "Watch out!" he told her. Damn. This thing can teleport? he thought, gripping the Keyblade hard. How are we supposed to beat something that we can't touch? he bit his lip, feeling his fangs slice the skin a bit.

Hizuka watched Zero attack. She thought about why there was no damage. Before she knew what happened the heartless was right next to her.

Her eyes were suddenly yellow. She tried to hit it she was hit by it. She got up barely in control of herself.

Zero was suddenly hit by a hunger surge. He lowered the Keyblade to his side, and cover his face with his hand. He began to pant forcefully and his eyes were turning a blood red color. He looked at the heartless through his fingers and then at Hizuka as it hit her.

The Phantomtail was powerful. He could tell by just looking at it. Zero suddenly gasped as his hunger for blood began to take over further and he lifted the Keyblade. I've only got one idea of how we can destroy this thing ... he thought to himself. He lowered his hand to his neck and showed his red eyes.

"Shikomaru!" he shouted at her. "Move out of the way!" he told her. Zero pointed the Keyblade at the Phantomtail, and just like with those smaller heartless a stream of light shot out from the tip. The light went in a line across the heartless' back. It began to teleport again but when Zero reached the head, it stopped and shook its head.

His eyes widened at the sight of this. He looked at Hizuka, "Hit it's head! That causes it damage!" He shouted at her.
